Everything you need to know about releasing music for free with fant4sy.

Pricing

Is fant4sy really free?

Yes. Uploading singles, EPs and albums costs $0. There's no yearly fee, and we never take a cut of your streaming royalties.

So how does fant4sy make money?

Labels and managers can pay for optional pro tools such as multi-artist dashboards, priority support and advanced analytics. Those extras cover our costs, so independent artists never pay.

Will my music be removed if I stop using fant4sy?

No. Your releases stay in stores for as long as you want them there. You can take a release down yourself at any time from your dashboard.

Is there a limit on uploads?

No. Release as much music as you make.

Releasing

How long until my music is live?

We review every release within 24 hours. After approval, most stores show it within 2โ€“5 days. For pitching to editorial playlists, we recommend setting your release date at least 3โ€“4 weeks out.

What audio and artwork formats do you accept?

Audio: WAV or FLAC, 16-bit / 44.1kHz or higher. Artwork: a square JPG or PNG, ideally 3000ร—3000px, with no blurry images, website addresses or social handles.

Which stores do you deliver to?

Spotify, Apple Music, TikTok, YouTube Music, Amazon Music, Instagram & Facebook, Deezer, Tidal, Pandora, Shazam, iHeartRadio and 140+ more around the world.

Can I add synced lyrics and pre-save links?

Yes, both are free. Once your release is approved, you'll get a smart link and pre-save page, and you can add time-synced lyrics.

Royalties

How much of my earnings do I keep?

100%. Whatever the stores pay for your music goes into your fant4sy wallet.

How do I get paid?

Withdraw to your bank account or PayPal at any time. There's no minimum payout.

Can I split royalties with collaborators?

Yes. Add collaborators by email and set their percentage. Each person gets paid automatically to their own account.

Rights & safety

Do I keep the rights to my music?

Always. You keep 100% ownership of your masters and publishing. We only get the permission we need to deliver your music to stores.

Can I release covers or songs with samples?

Covers need a mechanical license, which we can help you get. Samples need clearance from the original rights holders. Releases with uncleared samples are rejected to protect your account.

What about AI-generated music?

You need to own the rights to everything you upload. Releases that copy or impersonate other artists, or that use artificial streaming, are removed.

Still stuck?

Our artist team usually replies within a few hours.
